Three for three in the defensive front
Brz & Co. are making a statement about the veterans that are no longer with the team. Whether Banks & Orange can co-exist within the Flores approach will be the question in need of answering, beginning as soon as rookie camp. The Mad Scientist has been lauded many times for his ability to utilizing players' talents but this is a lot of precious draft capital to invest in the group so quickly.
So there are questions will need to be answered on the fields but one thing does seem clear already - the run defense has potential unlike many seasons since the peak of Zimmer's tenure.
It's just no given that the potential will come to reality in the rookie season.
But enough about that, what about the latest player addition
If there's a chance for even a dollar store version of the Williams Wall to be resurrected Orange seems like the Pat portion of the equation. He's not quite as girthy but has the chance to be a similar type load for the opposing offensive line.
There's potential, there always is during the draft, that's the beauty of it!
Now we just need to see it actualized.
