Uncertainty at the quarterback position, the turnover in the front office and the salary cap limitations made it as challenging as ever to be excited about this offseason, including the pinnacle of it - the draft.

But then came Kyler Murray and more contract wizardry by Brzezinski to make the upcoming season less bleak.

So with only two weeks remaining until the names start getting announced, let's get into who may end up donning the royal colors!

And as a bonus we'll get to see some possible landing spots for the latest best of the Bison.

Keep the mock drafting going

Now onto the new one

Pick 18 brought trade offers from Cleveland for 24 & a 2027 second round pick and Philly for 23 & 54, while also giving up 97. With Kenyon Sadiq, Dillon Thieneman & Avieon Terrell all available, the opportunity to improve the overall standing of this draft was taken.

As the saying goes, fortune favors the bold and fortunately, Sadiq slid the handful of picks to 23.

49 brought another chance to add another top-100 pick, 56 & 88 from Jax for 49 & 163. There were a few defenders to consider but none seemed like great style fits for how Flores goes about the business so adding the improved currency was again the choice.

At 54 the chance to add the long-term RB1 was too good to bypass

Jadarian Price (Notre Dame)

With the Harrison Smith now seeming set to return for another season the opportunity to find his replacement but not put too much pressure on them is here. Arizona St. cornerback Keith Abney could be just the man to put in that position, having him as a reserve DB while he adjusts to the differences in playing safety.

Oklahoma DT Gracen Holten shot to the top of the list when 82 arrived much like how he can shoot through gaps in the middle of the offensive line!

Which lead to the most consequential selection of the affair, due to the 108-pick gap before getting to go again.

The need at center is almost as large and the best prospect in this iteration was Duke's Brian Parker.

Now come the dart throws

While the top of the depth chart at linebacker is solid, adding someone to push the reserves would be a multi-dimensional move in the sixth round. Weber St./BYU's Jack Kelly could be just such a player.

USC/Alabama's Domani Jackson has the God-given ability to be a special player but through his time in college did not manage to put it to good use. That may continue to be true as a pro however, giving Flores another elite piece of clay is never a bad idea so with little at risk but much possible to gain it was another easy choice at 234.

One pick later came the familiar old friend from Fargo, safety Cole Wisniewski.

To put a bow on it, how about a true red zone threat - WR Michael Sturdivant, Florida.

A lot of defense in the nine-player group but a chance to get back to the postseason and win one of those ones if it can work out like this.

As for the locals

Bryce Lance went 86th to San Diego while Cole Payton was the 177th to Dallas.

Jack Strand went undrafted in this simulation.
