The Purple opened the fifth with another trade. No, not down for more selections. They traded with Chicago for a fourth-round pick next year. Might not be the only time that happens before Mr. Irrelavent. A

For 169 they went back to the well for another Defensive Back. Harrison Hand was a Corner at Temple but may do better in the pros as a Safety. So finally, some insurance at that position! A bit of a downer but no highlight videos for that guy but his selection brings them within 1 pick of how I thought things could shake out. With seven picks left, I'll be shocked if they don't hit the magic number of four before it's over. C

Before the end of the round they added one more piece for the offense as well.

From Miami to Minnesota, KJ Osborn will have a chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, especially if he can show ability on special teams but WR4 or 5 is the most likely scenario this season. C
